Mac tricks and tips - how to split your Mac screen
This will work on two windows or applications or mix, and OS X 10.11.
Split screen view
What you have to do, is press down left button of your mouse on green maximise window button, the one on top left hand side, then you will be able to move the window to the left or right side. Then you can pick the second window or application. You can chose which one you want to be bigger, Left side bigger, right smaller.
